Kapterev Alexei

My name is Alexei Kapterev. I assist my clients with solving difficult communication challenges. I provide consulting services, teach presentation skills and speak at conferences.

I was a financial controller at Citibank, an associate at the UK's Risk Advisory Group and a policy advisor at a boutique Russian firm working for the Ministry of Economics. It was the Ministry where I have encountered Death by PowerPoint. It was vile, unchecked and rampant. The only way to fight it was self-education, so I taught myself some presenation skills. But what about the rest of the folks?

And so the presentation was made and the name was Death by PowerPoint. People seemed to have enjoyed it, in fact, it has over 11 million views to date. This is how I started teaching presentation skills: structure, slides and delivery.

Among my clients are KMPG, Coca-Cola, Abbott, Bosch, banks of the Societe Generale Group, World Heath Organization and others.

I also work closely with a couple of business schools: Higher School of Business at the Moscow State University where I teach a course on visual communication, SKOLKOVO Moscow School of Management and Stockholm School of Economics, where I teach on various leadership development programs.
